Announces the holding of RAIL UTSAV 2025, an event to showcase the multiple aspects of Railway culture in India
Date: Sunday, the 30th of November, 2025
Time: 14.00 hrs to 20.00 hrs
Place: Calcutta University Institute, 7 Bankim Chatterjee Street, College Square, Kolkata 700073
The Event will include discussions, presentations and film shows on: 
- 200 years of World Railways
- 150 years of Calcutta Tramways
- 100 years of Railway Electrification in India
- Rail Philately in India & abroad
- Railway literature
- Rail Documentaries
- Rail on Reels - Cinema and Railways
In addition, exhibitions on Railway models and books will be organized at the Utsav. Authors who specialize in rail literature are welcome to display and sell their books at the Utsav.
Terms and conditions for registration and participation in RAIL UTSAV 2025 will be announced in October 2025.
Members of the Rail Enthusiasts’ Society and Rail Fans from all over India are invited to attend this unique festival.
